The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disclosed that over
1.8 million candidates registered for the 2019 Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination. This was disclosed to newsmen by the JAMB's
Head of Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin on Thursday in Abuja.
Dr Fabian said that PIN Vending for the registration ended on February 21st, 2019 but candidates who already purchased the PIN were allowed to still access the registration portal.
He however added that the registration portal finally closed 12
midnight, February 25th, 2019; indicating that registration for 2019
UTME has been concluded.
Benjamin said that the registration was a huge success, adding that there were no hitches at all across the various accredited registration centres nationwide.
